The Now

Well, time has certainly flown by since my last-one and only post to this blog. I had started another blog for my first "live" site called Sewing It All. Its a site that focuses on sewing and needlecrafts, geared basically toward the beginner. This is where my energy has been focused.

This site? Hmmmm, I need to fiquere out which direction I want to go with this one. Since this blog site is named, "The Sunny Spot", then I will focus on anything that helps me keep my head up high. I am a single mother with a 6 year old and a 11 year old. Talking about drama!

Everyday I fight to stay positive and try to teach my children the same. Some days are harder than others. I have been thru many bad situations in my childhood, teen years and adult life. I have been to the point of no return and back. I have seen the darkest hours. I MADE IT THROUGH!

Hopefully in some way I can help others, mothers, teens and single moms see the sunny spot.
When things are hard, no one can pull you up but yourself. We have two choices in life, walow in your self pity or pick yourself up and move on!

When you have a bad day, there's always tomorrow. I tell my children that the good thing about having bad days is......tomorrow's always better.

My choice to day is be productive, be positive and set a good example for my children.

I know what direction this blog will take. It will be the one blog that I do, that will not have a specific direction. Hopefully others will find some comfort or common interest within the post.
